Ritalin as a booster with my Concerta

At my last appointment, the doctor prescribed Ritalin 10mg after lunch, alongside my morning Concerta 36mg. I felt that Ritalin 10mg is too strong, it made me overly stimulated, like when I tried Concerta 18mg as an afternoon booster, whether I took the whole tablet at once or split it with a 3- or 4-hour interval. I now take only half a tablet daily until my next appointment this week. I find that Ritalin 5 mg is the ideal dose to maintain a good day for an additional 3 or 4 hours after the effect of the Concerta wears off.
