Questionis this ADHD
Hello everyone,
I experience a specific phenomenon after socializing or being around people—even if it’s just one meeting a week. I lose my sense of self and identity; my inner voice gets drowned out by the voices of others, and my mind seems to shut down during the interaction (I find it hard to "tune out" or disengage). I forget who I am; my inner world descends into chaos and turmoil, leading to increased distraction and overthinking.
It is only after retreating into solitude, writing, and unburdening my thoughts that I reclaim myself and reconnect with my own voice, will, and identity. This issue became more pronounced after I started taking Concerta; it wasn't something I clearly noticed or felt before my ADHD treatment.
I’m conflicted: is this a personality trait or an ADHD symptom? How can I handle this? Or does my nature dictate that I remain isolated forever? Solitude benefits me and makes me happy 😀, but I struggle to fully accept this path; it could hurt others and potentially harm me in the long run.

I was in a bit of this before I switched from Concerta to Vyvanse. It has helped massively with executive function and made me more social and more energetic I recommend talking to your doctor about switching to vyvanse
How does it affect you in terms of attention, focus, and distraction—comparing Concerta and Vyvanse?
Vyvanse helps so much with executive dysfunction and makes it easier to start tasks and also keeps me focused. Vyvanse feels more like I’m myself but faster and more efficient. It also takes away almost all of my anxiety and honestly drives me so much.
Thanks for your recommendation very informative for me

Have you been evaluated for ASD with ADHD?
only ADHD
What is your dose? Sometimes it's about increasing it. Have you tried vyvanse?
18 then 36 now 54. I have never tried Vyvanse. What distinguishes Vyvanse from Concerta?
Methylphenidate (Concerta) acts as a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, while dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) or lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) acts as a potent norepinephrine-dopamine releasing agent and reuptake inhibitor. Some people find one drug 'better' than the other; some find both effective but different.
Also consider asking your doctor about Concerta 72 mg or Ritalin before switching

i want to share from my experience in my school. this is a little strange we should feel the same. Is there anyone here with ADHD? What's it like at school? From my experience, it's very different from most people. I have a friend in my survival circle, and it turns out there's also someone with ADHD. it turns out it's still not on the same frequency
